Originally from Oklahoma, I received my BFA in Drama, with an emphasis in Stage Management and Dramaturgy from the University of Oklahoma. During college, I had the pleasure of working with Mosaic Theater Company, and the American Dance Festival as a technician and intern. This set the seeds for a lifelong passion for boundary-breaking art and avant-garde performance.
As a technician, I've worked mostly as a Technical Director, Audio Engineer, and Video Engineer for prominent Contemporary Dance and Performance Art spaces, including The Kitchen, Performance Space New York, and New York Live Arts. Since the fall of 2024, I have served as the Technical Director for the Park Avenue Armory's historic Head House rooms.
In my video design and sound art work, I've DJ'ed, curated events, and presented work at Performance Space New York, Mood Ring, Nowadays, and Elsewhere. I exist at the intersection of experimental art and nightlife, and seek to interrogate the boundaries between those communities in relation to queerness in my work.
Promoting accessibility and representation for historically and intentionally marginalized folks in performance and technical spaces is incredibly important to me. I am thrilled to offer my skills and labor to create space in arts spaces where it is sorely lacking.
